Dr. David Schroepfer

Dr. David Schroepfer, aka Dr. Dave, is a Wisconsin native. While in veterinary school, he was inducted into the Veterinary Honor Society of Phi Zeta.  After graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, School of Veterinary Medicine, he briefly practiced as an equine veterinarian in Florida before moving to New Jersey to enter the field of companion animal medicine.  He joined the Bound Brook Veterinary Clinic team in 2010 and has always considered it one of his greatest life choices.

When not hard at work in the clinic, Dr. Dave is often found traversing the scenic areas of northern New Jersey on horseback with a pack of foxhounds.  He is quite involved with the drag hunt, Spring Valley Hounds, in both guiding the club and training the hounds.  He also spends a great deal of time fundraising for local charitable youth equestrian organizations and community service organizations.  As involved as he is at the clinic and with the community, he finds that the compassionate care of his patients to always be his number one priority.  As such, he is very focused on providing you the very best for your canine and feline companions.
