As a young child, Dr. Cuevas loved both science and animals and with that knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She was born in Brooklyn and moved to Staten Island during her middle school years. She graduated from St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, NY with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Prior to veterinary school, she worked as a veterinary assistant at a small animal hospital in Staten Island as well as interning at New York City’s Central Park Zoo.
She graduated from Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Upon graduating she worked at the West Trenton Animal Hospital in Ewing, NJ before joining Bound Brook Veterinary Clinic.
She is passionate about her patients and strives to provide the best care in veterinary medicine. She values the human-animal bond with pets and their owners and works to educate owners on how best to care for their pets so that each one can live to their fullest life expectancy.
Dr. Cuevas moved to New Jersey in 2020 where she lives with her husband and in her spare time enjoys drawing, makeup and baking.
